Texas Koinonia is a multi-denominational Christian community that through prayer, fellowship, and sharing of common experiences helps individuals feel God’s purpose for their life. In feeling God’s grace, individuals can focus on becoming more committed Christians seeking to bring Christ into their families, their churches, their work and their communities. Usually, we hold two weekend retreats per year, in the Spring and the Fall. The weekends last from Friday evening, including dinner, until mid-afternoon on Sunday. Because it is a co-ed environment, couples as well as single adults are invited to attend. The only requirement is that you be a professing Christian--in other words, you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and your personal savior, and that he died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.

The first Texas Koinonia weekend took place in October 1994 with the help of Arkansas and Colorado Koinonians. Weekend #32, known as TK-32, will take place October 20-22, 2017, at The Prothro Center in Pottsboro, Texas, on Lake Texoma.
